Errors in the arena of human health can cost lives.
At Norwich, we are driven to produce the highest quality products
and services possible. We have thorough and robust Quality Assurance systems
in place to ensure the integrity of every product that leaves our cGMP-compliant
facility.
Track Record
We have a stellar record of meeting quality and compliance requirements
for regulatory agencies worldwide and our global customers, with no major
incidents recorded since the plant was built over 25 years ago. We are certified by the FDA and MHRA and are fully cGMP compliant. We have reviewed
our quality systems with authorities from the US, UK and Germany, most
recently undergoing a general cGMP inspection with the FDA in May,
2006, an EMEA inspection in May 2006, and an MHRA inspection in June, 2003.
Employees
We have a highly skilled staff of experienced and dedicated professionals,
many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years. Regardless
of length of service, all operations personnel spend approximately 10%
of their time training, including time with hands-on training on actual
replications of equipment, and in regular cGMP training.
Culture of Ownership
Norwich employees are trained to handle each customer's product as
if it were their own. To that end, employees take full responsibility
and accountability for their contributions to the manufacturing process.
In addition, throughout the plant, designated personnel - identified by
"Area Owned By" signs - are responsible for keeping each specific
area of the facility in optimum condition. Employees are steeped in a
culture that emphasizes unsurpassed quality and customer service, and
they do their part to uphold the standards of excellence that have been
established.
Practices
The plant is maintained according and subject to rigorous Quality Assurance
procedures to ensure the uniform quality of the products manufactured
here. Regular cleaning of manufacturing areas after each product campaign
includes the thorough cleansing of equipment, walls and floors. In addition,
minor cleaning operations take place batch-to-batch.
