The Norwich Pharmaceuticals manufacturing plant is a 375,000 square foot facility with state of the art equipment and features. It is scrupulously maintained to ensure the uniform quality of the products manufactured here. Each area of the plant has an area owner. The condition of that area becomes a matter of personal pride, a responsibility our highly competent employees take very seriously.

Norwich has been a respected name in pharmaceuticals since 1887. Among our best-known products was Pepto-Bismol (produced here under that name from 1919 to 1987), a fixture on medicine shelves for over 80 years.
