The Norwich manufacturing plant is a scrupulously maintained 375,000 square-foot facility containing state-of-the-art equipment and capabilities. Each module has an “area owner” and its condition becomes a matter of personal pride and a responsibility that all our employees take very seriously.
All manufacturing suites are equipped with HEPA filters to prevent cross-contamination between rooms. For maximum environmental control, our Honeywell® system monitors pressure differentials, temperature and humidity levels throughout the facility, including the warehouses and all loading docks.
With both clinical and commercial manufacturing capabilities, Norwich can qualify clinical trial and commercial production in the same facility, resulting in reduced drug development times and faster regulatory approvals.
Special Features
- Small Scale Manufacturing Facility - A fully-contained Intermediate Potency suite dedicated to the support of clinical trials and smaller volume needs.
- Intermediate Potency Suite - A "plant within a plant" specially equipped to handle the requirements of dry blending and tabletting Intermediate potency products.
- Licensed for handling controlled substances.
- High Shear and Fluid Bed capability in an Intermediate Potency Suite for wet granulation and drying.
